Just received mine in black and white. Although I have not had them long, I have to agree with other reviewers who suggest this might be the ONLY body briefer I wouldn't mind to be seen in! For what it is, it is very pretty and does not look like Grandma's girdle-wear. I do take issue however, with the reviewer who said they are for size 6 -10ers (why would you even buy one of these if you are that tiny??). I'm here to tell you that you do not control the market, not by a large margin (pardon the pun). The average American woman today wears a size 14-16. And I am here to tell you that it looks great on that size frame. Furthermore--unless you are looking for serious "suck power" (as my girlfriends say)--this briefer works just fine. It is lacy and thus allows skin to breathe. It is moderately elastic and thus, offers a wee bit of smoothing. The bra part is VERY lift-and-separate as they say! (Just a hint of pointy, so be forewarned if you prefer the uni-boob look). So, my two cents to say that larger sizes look and work just great in this model as long as you are not looking for girdle-grade suck power. I wear mine weekends and casual, however, I'm thinking of buying more for fulltime duty (work wear) because they are so much more darn comfy than the stiffer ones. Matter of personal taste I guess. Also, one complaint and something I will be keeping an eye on--the straps are disappointingly cheap--both the fabric and the attachment site. Because I am pretty chesty (DD) I worry about the weight pulling on the fabric and wonder how long it will hold. The plasic loops are cheap and look like the kind that will break with too much laundering. Other than that--pretty, functional, comfortable, with serious lift-and-separation of the girls! Try one! You will probably like it. Oh--and I give it a 4.5 because of the cheaper, hard straps and fear of pulling, and slight-pointy-factor. This is the most comfortable bra I've owned so far. I am fairly large (42C) and I needed something to hold "them" up, so they don't look like they're down to my waist. :o)

The straps do not dig into my shoulders and there's extra support right under the breast for a little "push". It gives a nice round shape (I hate bras that make me look pointy!). It is soft and comfortable. There is NO spillage (over the top or around the back straps). This thing actually does make me look smaller too, which I wasn't about to believe until I saw it. I went back right away to [...] and ordered a toffee one too. But I almost always wear black, they didn't have black! After more googling, I realized it is actually this Bali style #3385 bra. I guess Dillard's sells Bali bras under the Cabernet name. Whatever. Found it in black here at Amazon under the Bali name! Yay! I will probably order a bunch more and throw out about $500 worth of Victoria's Secret bras.

I *might* be able to size down from a 36D to a 36C... I will experiment with that later. But I am probably ok and just reading too much into it. I always wear a 36D. As another reviewer wrote, this bra may not be the best for fuller-figured ladies. I am a 36DD and thought I'd give this bra a go based on the reviews. While it's not uncomfortable, it offers much to be desired in the way of support. The girls just hang a little higher than without a bra, and the cup doesn't even hug around the breast entirely, not conforming to my natural shape. I tried adjusting the straps shorter, but this does not increase the support, only makes it tight and uncomfortable. So the bra makes my breasts appear "torpedo-like."

Also, as another reviewer noted, the bra does not lie flush against the breastbone in the center, making it feel more like a sports bra, and squishing them together, and not creating definition or separation. I was really hoping for more with this bra, but it didn't work for me. I'm keeping it as a house bra because it's probably more trouble than it's worth to ship it back and exchange.
